Aims and scope

Dear colleague,

The main objective of the symposium is to provide academic quorum to discuss issues related to teacher education as a key factor for ensuring sustainable development in all spheres of social and natural existence.

Teacher education is a new field of research that has not yet determined a theoretical base. But it must not discourage and deter our intentions for professional and scientific achievements.

Detecting differences between the current situation in teachers’ education between Member States of the European Union, as well as differences in the quality of discourse on education in general and teacher education in particular, resulted in numerous suggestions for the improvement, though for respective countries it has different meaning / place in their reforms.

These are sufficient reasons for organizing a discussion where we will share experiences and results of previous reform efforts in the field of teacher education.
